People you admire, people who work hard, people you can empathize with. Also, people who I simply like. Sometimes someone's decision like that pushes my own decision. A series of interviews in which the editorial department and writers of the same generation as Mynavi Woman readers in their 20s and 30s meet people who they think "I want to hear about now!" and cut out their lives.

I love my job.
But sometimes I wonder if I'm neglecting my life outside of work. The request for this job came at the timing when I was wondering if there was a way to value both my work and myself.
"ANIMALS" will be Airi Suzuki 's first lead role in a serial drama . While I was shocked by the strong copy written in the promotional visual, "Koi and work are the law of the law", when I played the special news that was released at the same time, "Umi" played by Mr. Suzuki was so busy with work that he couldn't take care of himself. It's been put off and is in tatters.
When asked to do something, there are probably more than a few people who inadvertently accept the request, putting themselves on the back burner.
“For those people, I think this drama really resonates right in the middle. Say that.
Airi Suzuki celebrates her 20th anniversary in June with her favorite "song" as a job. I wondered how she, who continues to do what she loves as a job, has valued both her work and herself.
Can you separate work and private life?
Mr. Suzuki, who played Kamori Kai in "ANIMALS-Animals-", seems to be similar to himself, but a little different.
After playing the role, he said, ``This time, I might have been the type to expand the elements of Umi-chan inside me and become Umi-chan. '' If someone asks me for a favor, I can't say no. "
“Even in my private life, I’m the type of person who gets happy when people rely on me and wants to do something. Speaking of which, I thought you looked a lot like me a little while ago."
However, in both work and private life, if you accept all the things that are asked of you, you will inevitably sacrifice your own time.
When I asked Mr. Suzuki if he had ever put off his own time during his hard work, he replied, "That's all."
“I didn’t think I was going to sacrifice my private life, but in fact I did so. But, Idols’ job is to cut down on their private lives and youth, and give everyone dreams. Like hanging out after school. I haven't had the experience of going to a fireworks display or anything like that, but I've been able to do what I like, and my work was fulfilling, so I don't feel like I've cut it down in a negative way. "
Just looking at the words "sacrificed" and "removed" gives the impression that he was forced to put up with it, but I couldn't tell from Mr. Suzuki's face as he spoke in front of me.
“There are times when you work too hard, and whatever you do in your private life, you do it for work. It's because it tightens my body.I don't think I have a lot of private time when I don't have work. But I'm afraid that I don't hate it (laughs)."
As I listened to her talk, I thought that there are some things that people who like their work can understand. There's always work somewhere in her head, and things that happen in her private life unconsciously are also linked to work.
She continued, "If I reduce my work to 0, I don't think I'll be able to come back. I'll have to increase my private life to 100 in order to improve my private life. That's why I think the current situation is suitable for me." However, now is the only time when he doesn't think about work.
" When I'm cooking and when I'm at the supermarket, it's the only time when I don't think about work. I've got this fish today!" I want to turn it off until the time when I'm happy..."
For some reason, I wondered if it would be better to keep a clear line between work and private life.
I love my job, but it's hard because I love it
I think that one of the problems faced by people who enjoy their work is that it is difficult for them to express negative emotions such as "tired" and "hard".
When I asked Mr. Suzuki if he had ever felt "hard", I was a little surprised when he answered, "I have many times."
“ Because I do what I love as a job, it is very painful to be evaluated for it.When my work is denied, I sometimes feel like I am being completely denied.
I don't want to quit my job, but I don't want to do it because I love singing. Even when I went solo from ℃-ute, I didn't have the confidence to sing alone, so if I couldn't renew myself from my ℃-ute days, I wouldn't want to do it, so there was a time when I said I didn't want to do it. , I'm not very confident."
It was surprising that she, who has a bright and positive image, said, "I don't have confidence."
"I'm good at turning negatives into positives, but I always worry when making important decisions. Until I was a student, I thought of myself as a very positive person . It was very easy to worry and negative, but my mother trained me every day to convert it into a positive.
That's why I'm just good at "turning negatives into positives", but I'm not inherently positive . However, because I have been troubled, I have the power to help someone change their way of thinking in a positive way when they are troubled. I think it's pretty important to switch negative to positive and think about it, so I think it's really wonderful to be worried . Worrying creates a change.”
Every time I heard the discourse that worrying is a waste of time, I often felt depressed, saying, "I'm not good enough because I'm worried about this." With the words, I was able to switch from negative to positive.
Mr. Suzuki's way of thinking that worrying is not a bad thing is something that I strongly felt I should cherish because it is difficult to take time to stop and think about things in this day and age.
Self-satisfaction is the happiest state
Finally, when I asked him if he would be happy in the future, he replied, "I'm still very happy, so I'll be happy if tomorrow is a little happier than today. " It's here.
“I think about what I want to do 10 years from now, but I’m the type of person who puts too much pressure on myself if I make too many detailed decisions,” she says. Clearing it makes me feel happy and live.
"I have an ideal morning routine, but I think I'll probably not be able to do it in about three days, so I'm doing what I can do properly .
For example, even if you want to drink plain hot water, ideally you want to boil hot water in a kettle to make plain hot water, but you can mix hot water and cold water with a water server and say, ``This is my plain hot water! ’ (laughs), and because I drink it, I think I’ve achieved it. I realized that it is really important to be self-sufficient and say, "I did it." Wouldn't it be the happiest if you didn't cause trouble to anyone and understood self-satisfaction in a good way?"
When I heard her story, I was surprised that "happiness" was so within reach. She realized that each person had their own form of happiness, but she had defined "happiness" by comparing herself to those around her.
“I think it would be nice if there were more smiles, but it’s true that smiles aren’t the only thing that makes people happy .
Even if you don't compare yourself to those around you, if you feel a sense of fulfillment, you're happy. When I think so, I have a feeling that the way I deal with work and life will change.
